Age:
16+

The production includes the stories from the 'Blue book' by Michael Zoshchenko. "The sky color performance' includes such stories as 'Photo card', 'The birthday girl', 'Bathhouse and people' and others. Michael Zoshchenko is an unconditional master of a short form. He was able to reveal in a short story the atmosphere in which his characters lived - "ordinary Soviet citizens." The stories by Mikhail Zoshchenko can be considered as documentary evidence of the era of the beginning of the 20th century, written with irony and undisguised bitterness. "The sky color performance" is the history of human relations, the history of people adapting to new conditions, the conditions of the Soviet era. In the preface to the Blue Book, Mikhail Zoshchenko writes: “With this color of hope, a color that has long been a sign of modesty, youth, and everything good and sublime, this color of the sky in which pigeons and airplanes fly, the color of the sky that spreads above us, we call our funny and partly touching book. And whatever they say about this book, it has more joy and hope than joke, and less irony than real love and tender affection for people. " The themes of Mikhail Zoshchenko’s stories are so diverse, that they are equally interesting “for an adult and middle-aged dummies, and for young rakes and of course for all ordinary people.”

Performance lasts 1 hour 20 minutes (one act without intermission)
