NEBOLSHOY THEATER opened the 17th theatrical season on Knowledge Day!

On September 1, 2018, two performances were shown on the stage of the Ulyanovsk Theater for Young Spectators for schoolchildren and their parents - “Brother Rabbit's Tricks” based on the tales by J. Harris and “The Story of a Kidnap” based on the story by O. Henry.

As part of the festive event, a game program was organized in the lobby of the institution. Artists in the costumes of the heroes of theater performances held interactive games, prepared active tasks and competitions, which the participants coped with pleasure. Sideshow especially interested young viewers.

 

The 17th theatrical season was opened at the NEBOLSHOY THEATER with the premiere of the play “The Story of a Kidnap”. At the beginning of the evening, the gathered guests were greeted by the Deputy Minister of Art and Cultural Policy of the Ulyanovsk Region Marina Mikheeva. She congratulated the schoolchildren, their parents and teachers on the holiday, and also noted: “On the Day of Knowledge, NEBOLSHOY THEATER has prepared a wonderful gift for you - such an exciting and informative performance. In the new season, many more surprises are to be expected. We are always glad to see you here. We wish the theater a successful season, and all of us have a pleasant experience.”

 

The director of the play “The Story of a Kidnap”, artistic director of the NEBOLSHOY THEATER, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Eduard Terekhov emphasized in his welcoming speech: “I hope that this theater season will be interesting and unique for you, the audience of the theater. You will see new premieres, as well as get acquainted with new bands that will come to us on tour this year. And in May 2019, a theater festival will be held in our theater, we are waiting for guests from all over Russia and foreign countries. ”Both children and adults with equal attention watched the action unfolding on the stage and an exciting plot. The story of the hapless “captors” Sam (Artemy Kurchatov) and Bill (Azat Akhtyamov) and their little captive Johnny Dorset (Evgeny Yumanov) left no one indifferent.

 

Participants spoke about the impressions of a busy day.
