NEBOLSHOY ТHЕАТER – Laureate in three categories at the All-Russian Festival in Sevastopol
On June 5, 2019, the Ulyanovsk Theater for Young Spectators presented the performance “Mom, Dad, Brothers GRIMM” at the III All-Russian Festival of Theater Arts for Children “Fairy Kingdom” on the stage of the Sevastopol Theater for Young Spectators.
At the end of the festival, the performance “Mother, Father, GRIMM brothers” was awarded the diploma “For the best performance”, as well as diplomas in the nominations: “For the best plastic solution to the play” (directed by Marina Korneva), “For the best male role” (artist Alexander Sukhomlinov).
“NEBOLSHOY THEATER is not the first time performing in Sevastopol. Our performances are always warmly received by the inhabitants of the Crimean peninsula. The performance “Mother, Father, GRIMM Brothers” was warmly received by both the audience and the jury of the festival, and was immediately given awards in three categories,” said Eduard Terekhov, director and art director of the Ulyanovsk Theater for Young Spectators, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
The play “Mother, Father, GRIMM brothers” was based on the famous and legendary tales by German authors Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. Sevastopol viewers not only saw the magnificent fairy tales such as King Drozdoborod, Musicians from Bremen and others, but also got acquainted with the Brothers Grimm and their wonderful family.
“We brought Grimm brothers' fairy tales to the festival “Fairy Kingdom”, because this performance is the best suited to the theme and spirit of the Sevastopol Theater Forum. The festival program was very extensive and interesting. Twelve performances from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Yevpatoriya, Maykop, Elista, Mariinsk took part in it,” said Marina Korneva, the main director of the Ulyanovsk Theater for Young Spectators.
Let us recall, that the III All-Russian Festival of Theater Arts for Children "Fairy Kingdom" was held in Sevastopol from 1 to 7 of June. The organizer is the Sevastopol Theater of Young Spectators with the support of the Government of Sevastopol.
